About the Greenwich 约炮视频 Center and Sanctuary

Greenwich 约炮视频 Center's mission is to engage and educate people to conserve, restore, and enjoy nature鈥攆ocusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats.

Greenwich 约炮视频 Center stewards seven sanctuaries and private parcels (totaling 686 acres) in Greenwich, including the Main Sanctuary (and 约炮视频 Center) located at 613 Riversville Road. Our center opened its doors in 1943, as the 约炮视频鈥檚 first environmental education center, and has been welcoming visitors and serving as a leader in place-based nature education ever since.

Hardwood forests, open fields, a lake, streams, and vernal pools, as well as remnants of early homestead settlement, can be found at Greenwich 约炮视频 Center's Main Sanctuary. In addition to its rich education programs, the center and staff coordinate 约炮视频鈥檚  work in Connecticut. 约炮视频 Connecticut's offices are also located at our main center building鈥攖he .
