About

As Communications Manager for the Ô¼ÅÚÊÓƵ's coastal strategy, Rachel supports Ô¼ÅÚÊÓƵ's marine conservation, coastal resilience and Gulf restoration initiatives. Based in New Orleans, Rachel works from coast to coast to tell stories of how birds and people are affected by the increasing threats of climate change, overfishing, land loss, and oil spills. Prior to Ô¼ÅÚÊÓƵ, Rachel served in a number of roles at Ocean Conservancy, working to restore the Gulf of Mexico after the BP oil disaster. Rachel is a certified Louisiana Master Naturalist and holds a bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University.
