David Jeffrey Ringer is a birder, a naturalist, and a writer. He is a co-founder of  and before that, he worked at Ô¼ÅÚÊÓƵ for nearly twelve years. He was Ô¼ÅÚÊÓƵ's front-line PR manager on the Gulf Coast during the 2010 BP oil disaster and led communications for the RESTORE Act campaign. He then served as Ô¼ÅÚÊÓƵ's national communications director, and then chief network and communications officer, leading Ô¼ÅÚÊÓƵ's communications, chapter relations, and Bird-Friendly Communities work, and founding Ô¼ÅÚÊÓƵ on Campus.
