Join acclaimed birder and artist Rafael Galvez for a discussion of Art and Nature. Depictions of the natural world and birds through art have the power to evoke messages that science has difficulty in expressing on its own. When art and scientific inquiry meet, they turn a mirror to our roles as stewards of the environment, exposing our cultural biases towards nature, granting us new opportunities to appreciate and celebrate the living world and wilderness.
